Speech therapist
Col. No.: 29/2832
My name is Nuria Ruiz Arévalo, with registration number 29/2832, and I am a speech therapist qualified by the University of Málaga. Since I started my training, I knew that I wanted to dedicate myself to a profession in which I could provide real help to those who face difficulties in their communication and development. This vocation has led me to specialise in different areas of speech therapy, with solid experience in the treatment of vocal pathologies, early intervention, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and reading and writing disorders. I also have specific training and experience in neonatal dysphagia, an area that I consider essential to ensure safe and appropriate feeding for the very young.
Throughout my career, I have worked with patients of all ages, from the youngest children in early stages of care to adults seeking to improve their quality of life through the use of their voice and their ability to express themselves. Each case is unique, and my approach to work is always personalised, tailored to the needs and pace of each individual. I am passionate about getting to know each patient in depth, listening to their needs and together creating a plan that allows them to move towards their goals. I strongly believe in the importance of a supportive, trusting and respectful environment as the pillars for success in every intervention.
Speech therapy is for me a profession in which I see, day by day, how effort and dedication can change lives. Through my work, I seek not only to help my patients improve their communication and learning skills, but also to strengthen their self-confidence and accompany them in the process of discovering their true potential. My experience in neonatal dysphagia has allowed me to comprehensively address the needs of young children, contributing to their proper development and the prevention of possible complications in their feeding.
I feel deeply committed to my profession and to each person who puts themselves in my hands. In each session, I bring all my experience and expertise to offer comprehensive and effective support. My goal is simple: that my patients and their families feel that they have a guide and an ally to overcome the challenges they face. I am convinced that, with the right approach and the necessary dedication, we can make significant advances in the quality of life of those who trust me.
