Speech therapist
Col. No.: 29/2532
I am a graduate in Speech Therapy from the University of Malaga (member number 29/2532) and I am specialized in Early Care. In addition, I am a Senior Technician in Prosthetic Audiology. This has given me the opportunity to acquire more specific training in the field of hearing impairment.
Both during the completion of the degree and subsequently, I have completed other training within my profession to learn more specific techniques from different areas, such as atypical swallowing or vocal rehabilitation.
Currently, in addition to working as a speech therapist here at Avanza, I also work in an Early Care Center. In both, I develop individual and group therapies, conduct initial interviews, prepare materials, design interventions, provide guidance in the family environment, etc.
My downfall is children and I have always been aware of how much I empathize and connect with them. This is why I focused my training on the child and adolescent population, although I also train and work with adults with various pathologies.
My main objective is to offer a therapy that is effective and adapted to each person and their environment; following an individualized methodology.
Enjoying the achievements of my users and helping them along the way is one of the things I enjoy the most and makes me proud of. But without a doubt the best thing is to learn from everything they teach me.
