Reading is a process of interaction between thought and language, the reader needs to recognize letters, words, and phrases. However, when reading it, it is not always possible to understand the message contained in the text; It is even possible that it is understood in the wrong way. As an intellectual skill, understanding involves grasping the meanings that others have conveyed through sounds, images, colors, and movements.<\/p>\n

Reading comprehension is a more complex process than identifying words and meanings; This is the difference between reading and comprehension. It is a basic skill upon which a series of related abilities are deployed: oral management, a taste for reading, critical thinking. It is a cognitive task that involves great complexity: the reader not only has to extract information from the text and interpret it based on their previous knowledge.<\/p>\n

While values are principles that allow us to guide our behavior based on realizing ourselves as people. They are fundamental beliefs that help us prefer, appreciate and choose some things over others, or one behavior over another. They are also a source of satisfaction and fulfillment.<\/p>\n

They provide us with a guideline to formulate goals and purposes, personal or collective. Reflect our interests, feelings and most important convictions.<\/p>\n

But values are also the basis for living in community and relating to other people. They allow us to regulate our behavior for collective well-being and harmonious coexistence.<\/p>\n

For all these reasons, at Avanza Gabinete Psicopedag\u00f3gico, we carry out a comprehensive reading workshop, once reading has been acquired, to learn to understand what a text is telling us, using different readings of stories where it teaches us a value.<\/p>\n

In each session one or two stories will be read and various questions will have to be answered to see if the message has been understood, previously giving the students the various tools to do so. We will always end the workshop discussing the value worked on reading and valuing its importance in our daily lives.<\/p>\n

The groups are small and their session will always be on Friday afternoons.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
